The pencils are made in the USA, and each pencil is foil pressed by hand at Studio Portmanteau in Grants Pass, Oregon. Each pencil is 7" long and a thick #2 HB graphite core runs the entire length. As always, well-designed and well-crafted. These pencils are easy to sharpen with either an exacto knife, or a carpenter pencil sharpener.
